Our favorite grill recipe for our Bayou Boards is Grilled Salmon with Mama Lou’s Rub to give the Salmon moist and full of flavor!
Mama Lou’s Rub ( a great rub for pork, chicken, and fish)
2 T of Paprika
2 T of Sugar
1 T of Salt
1 T of Ground Cumin
1 T of Course Ground Pepper
1 T of Chili Powder
Mix and rub on meat side of fish. Soak the Bayou Boards in water for 2-4 hours. Place fish skin side down on the Bayou Board. Place on grill with medium heat and cook for 20-30 minutes.
Mama Lou’s Rub can be used on Pork St. Louis Style Ribs for flavorful and tender ribs.
Apply rub liberally to both sides of the rack. Heat grill up to 400 F for about 10-15 mins so the grill is nice and hot. Sear ribs meat side down for 5 minutes. Then reduce heat to 300 F. Cook for an hour. The most important thing is not to open the grill until the hour is up. Open and baste with bbq sauce and cook for another 10 minutes. Remove and enjoy the fall off the bone goodness!
